There are many like it but this is the one! Bills Drive In is not only a local staple but for me and my crew it is a weekly stop. My hats off to the crew, always smiling and having a good time behind a hot grill, we thank you for your service to us and this community. Bill's Burger delivers a burger above the rest. The crew enjoys the cheeseburger, colossal burger, pastrami sandwich, carna asada burrito, chilli cheese fries, and the grilled chicken sandwich. We love Bills Drive in and want everyone to know, this is the place to be!

This spot is a staple in Monte. Every city has their burger joint and I feel like this is the place here. It's been here for as long as I can remember and the chefs been at it for the time running. It's cash only but they have an atm outside. You can sit inside or outside. It's a little pricey but what isn't these days. The ONLY thing that gets me is it says it opens at 7am but that NEVER happens. The service is great once they're open though.

This place is a landmark in El Monte. I remember when I was in middle school walking to Bill's after school with my friends to grab some burgers. Today when I got off work I was pretty hungry, but I was craving a burger so I decided to stop by and grab something to eat to take home. It had been a while since I ate at Bill's so I decided to stop and grab me something. The burgers here are really good there's no doubt about that. I do feel like they are a little pricey though. They also serve breakfast I notice lots of people go there for their breakfast. I have never tried it, but it must be good. I ordered a double cheeseburger meal with extra cheese, and a side of onion rings and that came out to $20. They also charge you $.50 per ranch if you ask for one. I asked for two and the lady charged me $1.20 I'm guessing the $.20 was for tax. Everything tasted delicious. The fries we're perfectly done. They had a nice crunch on them and the onion rings had a great batter on them. They were well seasoned. They also accept phone orders in case you're in a hurry. they also have indoor and outdoor seating. But most importantly, don't forget that they only accept cash, no credit cards.

Fries are majorly under-seasoned. Also taste like it's been sitting for a while and then refried. Very crispy but not creamy at all, if you're into that texture. Burger is pretty solid. They don't skimp on sauce but not overly saucy either. Pretty average neighborhood burger place. A few fyis: This place is cash only. Outside seating area. No restroom even for customers. No refills on drinks.

Today was my first time here and it was all around a really positive experience. They took our order quickly & correctly. The food was delicious - perfect pastrami. Great fries. Good soda even. The outdoor seating is very small. But it is completely shaded, plenty of parking. And the place was clean! - the worker came by to clean the table just as we sat down. I'd come back!
